ON THE WORLD DAY AGAINST AIDS, (RED) AND VESPA RENEW THEIR PARTNERSHIP, ACTIVE SINCE 2016, AND THEIR COMMITMENT TO RAISING AWARENESS TOWARDS AN ISSUE WHICH IS NEVER CURRENT AND IMPORTANT.
Milan, 1 December 2021 - As every year, since 1988, 1 December is the world day against AIDS; an important opportunity for (RED)®, an association founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, to reaffirm its support for the fight against pandemics such as AIDS and COVID. So far (RED) ® has raised nearly 700 million dollars donated to the Global Fund, one of the world's leading donors of global health initiatives: thanks to these donations it has been possible to help over 220 million people around the world.
And it is precisely with this intent that Vespa in 2016 joined (RED)® in the fight for a world in which every human being, wherever they are, can have access to essential health services and life-saving treatments. From this collaboration, the (Vespa) RED collection and a range of accessories and merchandising come to life.
To further strengthen the bond between Vespa and (RED)®, the (VESPA ELETTRICA) RED will be launched in 2022, the most modern icon of Italian technology, synonymous with advanced connectivity and silence, customization and accessibility; a double expression of sustainability that combines environmental and social sustainability.
As happened for the other products in the (Vespa) RED collection, its livery is also tinged with a red as special as it is generous: for each product purchased, a sum is donated to the Global Fund, because even the smallest help can make a difference.
